FAQs
Q: Do I really need to use packing material within the boxes I send to you as directed by your "Packing/ Collection details" email?
A: Yes, it is essential to please use either bubble wrap, scrunched newspaper, carrier bags or any other suitable material around the inner sides of the box to protect your items against accidential damage whilst in transit.
Q: What happens if my items do get damaged in transit?
A: If your items were packed using adequate packing material and the box was sealed with sufficient packing tape then our full and free insurance will cover every item and you will be paid within the normal time frame.
Q: What happens if I haven't used any packing material?
A: Our insurance on your box will be void and delays in your payment can be expected whilst your damaged goods are inspected by the couriers own insurance company. For the sake of preventing such unnecessary delays please always use packing materials as requested.
Q: What do you do with all the boxes and packing material?
A: All boxes and packing material are meticulously recycled in line with local authority recommendations.
Q: Do you supply boxes in which to pack our items?
A: Unfortunately not.
Q: Can I use "plastic crates" to pack my items in?
A: Yes, providing thay have a lid which can be taped down securely.
Q: What would you suggest is the correct size box to use?
A: In our valuation/ offer email, you will notice we suggest how many boxes you should use in which to pack your items. We base this on an "average" size box being a 2ft/ 60cms cubed. We wouldn't suggest using "crisp" boxes because of the high risk of these flimsy boxes bursting open in transit.
Q: What happens if I accept your offer after the 10 days have elapsed?
A: I'm afraid a reassessment of value will have to be undertaken on your original listing to be completely in line once again with current market values. Whilst this may result in an increase it is more than likely to result in a lower valuation being given following the market trend of most disc orientated products.
